Your email stays private.

Die With Me is made by Sprout Technologies. When you share your email on an invitation page, we store that address, the invitation’s public inviter name, the time you submitted it, and its email-preference record.

We use these details to understand interest in the community. An email address is required to download the app from our website. Providing it does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Your email is stored in a private database on our Google Cloud server. It is never shown on rankings, in chat, in share cards, or to your inviter. We do not send your email address to Google Analytics or use it in AI chat prompts.

Email preferences

The preferences link shown after you submit your email lets you unsubscribe. This browser also remembers that link. Manage email preferences. Unsubscribing does not remove your app profile or friendships.

Submitting an address does not verify that you own it. We have not enabled mailing campaigns or confirmation emails. Addresses remain marked unverified, and ownership verification will be required before mailing campaigns are enabled.

Your usage & account

The Mac app reads allowance information from your existing Claude Code or Codex sign-in. Provider credentials stay on your Mac. Your usage visibility setting controls what other members can see; email details are private regardless of that setting.

Chat and voice drafts

Member messages are visible for five hours. Voice input sends your recording to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text to create an editable draft. Die With Me does not save the recording or send it to other members. You choose when to send the resulting text. Cancelling before transcription discards the recording; cancelling after transcription starts stops the interface from using the result but cannot undo processing already sent to Google.

When you choose Translate, the message text is sent to Google Cloud Translation. The original message stays unchanged.
